Hats Off To Laurel and Hardy

from Lucky Dog Theatre Productions

After gaining six five-star reviews at Brighton Fringe in 2013 with their first show, this new play garnered six of its own in 2014 and has been frequently lauded at the most accurate, moving and affectionate piece ever written about the world’s best-loved comedy duo of all time. Time and again it has had audiences howling with laughter at live and film recreations of their most famous routines before reducing grown men to tears at the inevitable conclusion.

The play was written by member Philip Hutchinson and has been touring nationally to rave reviews, standing ovations and sold-out houses since September 2013. It has also run at the Laurel & Hardy Museum in Ulverston, to a full standing ovation at the Laurel & Hardy Convention in Manchester, in Hollywood, Berlin, Prague and part of it was performed to a sell-out audience of 1800 at The Colston Hall in Bristol in 2015.
